I wrote my memoirs about my time in the Royal Air Force as I had so many stories to tell. It's a short book but is a raw, honest rendition and insightful account of the experiences I had as a 19-year-old sent to war in the South Atlantic to help liberate the Falkland Islands.
Three Stripes, I'm Out was published in 2020, on paperback and available from Amazon.

I was born in London in the early 1960's, but I was brought up south of the river after we moved to Thornton Heath. After a colourful upbringing, I decided to join RAF where I spent the next 23 years. I was lucky to visit many parts of the the world, including one, like many, didn't know existed.

Fascinating Insight Into the harsh realities of war Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 28 November 2020
Absolutely fascinating read. The sacrifice our armed forces have made and are still making should never been forgotten. This book is funny, moving and one I can’t out put down. Highly recommended

Great read Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 9 March 2021
Absolutely cracking read, the blend of personal and service information was a joy to read. I joined the RN in the same year as the author joined the RAF, I also served in the Falklands war. The information on his experiences in both training and the war brought everything back to me and I'm sure will do the same for thousands of vets and current service personnel.
